The Team Leader - Dzelamunyuy Ghislain
Dzelamunyuy Ghislain Simuben was born in Nso in the North West Region of Cameroon. He lived and grew up in an agricultural background. He completed primary school and enrolled in Secondary School. He completed High School in 2021 with an Advanced Level General Certificate of Education. Dzelamunyuy developed passion for sustainable agriculture and enrolled in the Regional College of Agriculture Bambili in 2022. He studied agro-pastoral entrepreneurship for 2 years and graduated as a Senior Agro-Pastoral Entrepreneurship Expert.
While growing up, he saw that his community was lacking in jobs, food, quality education and those most affected were the Children, the youths and women. He noticed that the forest, soil, rivers and other natural resources that his community depended on were fast degrading and this needed a solution. He decided to be part of the solution because he wanted to help his community adapt to climate change and also develop a green economy. Dzelamunyuy decided to integrate his acquired knowledge and skills to build a more sustainable and resilient community for a sustainable future. Dzelamunyuy Ghislain with 5 other young aspiring change makers created Eco Friendly Generation (ECOFRIGE) in October 2022.
He has been working for ECOFRIGE since it was created and in collaboration/partnership with like-minded organizations like CAMGEW, WECMA, NOWEFAM, VOW, to acquire more practical knowledge and skills on agro-pastoral, ecological entrepreneurship and medicinal plants transformation.
He has also carried out short online distant learning courses on agri-preneurship, Nature-base Solution for Disaster and Climate Resilient obtained Developing, Mentoring and Supporting Youth Leadership, Fundamentals of Climate Smart Entrepreneurship.
He has saved as the Tunza 30th Eco Generation Regional Ambassador of Cameroon obtained certificate of successful completion of his 6 months term.
Dzelamunyuy has been the Global Youth Ambassador of TheirWorld Organization since 3rd of August 2023. He has integrated quality education in their organization program to promote early childhood education. He promotes eco friendly practices and knowledge sharing with children and young people, which is the best start of life to make a sustainable world.
